Kathmandu – Nepali students aspiring to pursue higher education in the United States will have the opportunity to engage directly with U.S. universities at the 20th EducationUSA University Fair, organized by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal in partnership with the USEF-Nepal EducationUSA Advising Center.
The fair will take place in Kathmandu on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at The Soaltee Kathmandu, Tahachal, and in Pokhara on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Hotel Barahi, Lakeside.
More than 45 accredited U.S. colleges and universities will participate in the Kathmandu fair, while 20+ universities will join in Pokhara. Admission officers will provide students and parents with firsthand information on academic programs, student visas, campus life, financial aid, and the U.S. application process.
The fair will also feature success stories from Nepali alumni of U.S. universities who are now contributing significantly to Nepal’s development, showcasing how U.S. higher education equips students with the skills, innovation, and global networks needed for future careers.
Participation is free, but advance registration is required. Students must complete the simple online registration form, click submit, and bring either a printed ticket or a screenshot of their entry pass for admission.
The EducationUSA Fair offers a unique opportunity for Nepali students to learn how studying in the United States can help them achieve their academic and professional goals while contributing to Nepal’s growth.
