Kathmandu, Dec 28: Mist and fog shall prevail at most places over the Tarai region today. Likewise, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
According to 8:00 am bulletin published by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki Province.
Later tonight, mist will prevail at most places over the Terai region, with the weather remaining partly cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali Provinces and mainly fair in remaining hilly and mountainous regions.
There is also a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki Province.
The Meteorological Analysis by the Division says that there is partial influence of westerly winds across the country.
