Kathmandu : The Tribhuvan University (TU) has urged one and all to resolve the conflicting issues through talks and dialogue in a systematic manner.

Issuing a notice today, the TU Information and Public Relations Division has urged the agitating sides not to carry out any activities that hinder the university’s responsibility to provide quality education in a given academic session.

The TU has asked the students, well-wishers and concerned sides to resolve disputes through talks and dialogue if there were any issues and misunderstandings.

The TU has stated that implementation of the academic calendar in the university was severely jeopardized due to the incidents of padlock, strike, arson and vandalism in the academic institution.

As per the TU calendar, there is no provision of reexamination for any of the levels once the decisions were made by the TU Academic Council, the TU made clear.

The Division has reminded that implementation of the academic calendar — registration, class commencement, collection and management of examination forms, operation of examination and result publication – was crucial in the university.
