Rukum (East), Jan 20: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has filed his nomination from Rukum (East) constituency-1.
The election to the Member of the House of Representatives is scheduled for coming March 5. Reaching the Office of the Election Officer, he registered his candidacy. Talking briefly to media persons after registering his nomination papers, Coordinator Dahal said he would give first priority to overall development construction of Rukum.
“Rukum was a key base of the people’s war. I decided to file candidacy from this area in this election. I will give first priority to Rukum’s development,” he opined.
