Madhyabindu (Nawalparasi), Jan 28: Butwal-Narayangadh road section has been obstructed for traffic today. Vehicular movement along the road section has been disrupted due to slippery road at Daunne section of Binayi Tribeni rural municipality-2 along East-West Highway following the rainfall.

One-way traffic is in operation after the vehicles were trapped on the road near Gheukhola and Bishwokarma temple in Daunne following muddy and slippery road, said Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), Yubaraj Khadka.

“There is a long queue of vehicles after vehicular movement has been obstructed due to muddy and slippery road since the rainfall this morning. Problem has surfaced in movement of vehicles heading towards west from east after a truck has been stuck due to muddy road,” he added. According to Narayangadh-Butwal Road Project, efforts are underway to resume traffic on the road section.
