Kathmandu : CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli made public the election manifesto amidst a programme on Thursday. In the manifesto, UML has featured 11 immediate works, five fundamental announcements for sectoral development, and 25 pillars of prosperity. The party has aimed at reaching minimum wage of workers at Rs 25,000 per month.
The party is for providing 10 GB internet data for free of cost to the youths of 18 to 28-year age group for a year. One million youths would be provided employments. The students willing to pursue higher education in technical stream would be provided the loan of Rs 2 million at zero interest rate.
The health volunteers would be provided Rs 20,000 allowance. The UML has aimed at reaching Nepalis’ per capita income to some 3,000 US dollars in five years.
Similarly, economic growth rate would be maintained around 7 to 9 percent.
In a year, 500 thousand new jobs would be created in the country, among which 100 thousand would be related to information technology. The contribution of industrial sector to GDP would be doubled, while tourist arrivals would be increased two-folds in five years. Similarly, all single lane roads would be upgraded to double lane.
The party is for respectable relations with all countries and protection of national independence. It will not accept any interference or encroachment to the country’s territorial integrity.
