Kathmandu, June 12: The Trauma Society of Nepal has been formed under the chair of orthopedic specialist, Dr Pramod Lamichhane.
The Society was formed on Thursday comprising the presence of doctors involved in orthopedic treatment, trauma management and related professionals.
Prof Dr Ramesh Prasad Singh, a veteran orthopedic specialist, is named the patron of the Society.
Dr Shailendra Kumar Duwal Shrestha is picked as the senior vice chairman of the Society, while Dr Hemanta Kumar Gupta, Dr Bijayandra Adhikari and Dr Alok Pandey would serve as the vice chairman, general secretary and treasurer, respectively.
Likewise, the Society has formed a Scientific Committee under the leadership of Dr Rohit Shrestha, comprising Dr Bhashkar Raj Karki, Dr Manish Shrestha and Dr Bishwa Bandhu Niraula as the members.
