Motorable bridge constructed over Thini rivulet in Mustang

Mustang, July 15: A motorable bridge has been constructed over the Thini rivulet located at Gharapjhong rural municipality-5 in Mustang district.

The Infrastructure Development Office, Mustang, under Gandaki province government constructed the bridge which has been completed before the deadline.

Construction of the bridge over Thini rivulet along with Gharpajhong ring road has been completed in the current fiscal year, according to the Office.

Though the agreement was signed to complete the bridge construction within coming August 5, the construction company, Amit Ashesh JV Construction, completed it before the deadline. A target was set to complete the construction within two years.

Engineer at the Infrastructure Development Office, Suresh Pandey, said construction of the bridge under the ring road connecting five wards of Gharapjhong rural municipality completed before the deadline.

Similarly, construction of Gharapjhong ring road, which deadline was extended for sixth time due to various reasons in the past, has also completed in the current fiscal year, he added.

The movement of people of all five wards of the rural municipality has become easier after the construction of the bridge.

The 35-meter-long and 8.4 meter wide motorable bridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 44.6 million.
