Kathmandu: Australian Ambassador to Nepal, Felicity Volk, has paid a courtesy call on Chief of the Army Staff, Prabhu Ram Sharma.
During the meeting held at the Army Headquarters today, they discussed matters of bilateral interest and mutual relations, according to the Nepali Army Directorate of Public Relations and Information.
Meanwhile, CoAS Sharma conferred insignia on Sudarshan Silwal, who was promoted to the post of Major General. The Army Headquarters has given the responsibility of Director General of the Army Intelligence to Major General Silwal.
Similarly, insignia was conferred on three colonels promoted from Lieutenant Colonel, added the Directorate.
