KATHMANDU: Lumbini Province Chief Minister Leela Giri is taking a vote of confidence on next Monday (April 24).
According to the Secretary of Lumbini Province Assembly, Durlav Kumar Pun, the Province Assembly meeting will be held on April 24 as per Rule 12 (3) of the Province Assembly Regulations, 2079 BS.
Chief Minister will take a vote of confidence in the province assembly meeting on April 24, Spokesperson of Lumbini Province Government and Minister for Urban Development Chet Narayan Acharya, said.
Chief Minister Giri of Lumbini Province, who was appointed as the CM on January 11, had taken the vote of confidence on January 19.
CM Giri is taking vote of confidence after the Maoist Centre and other coalition parties withdrew their support.
