Gandaki, Dec 16: Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma on Saturday said political parties should not worry about the election but the country.
Speaking at the regional conference of the Nepali Congress regional working committee constituency 2, Baglung, the leader said that there was a need of advancing the country on the journey of prosperity.
“Some parties are running a campaign called the mission 84, what does that mean?” said Sharma, adding that, “Let’s discuss the issues to be done in 2080 and 2081.” He picked the allegory that a good student who pays attention to studies does not worry about exams.
The leader clarified that the NC was not in the mission of 2084, saying that the party would always put victory at the centre. “The search for the victory of the country is main thing, now the country’s main issue is the way of progress and prosperity,” he said.
Saying that the NC is not only the oldest in terms of time, but oldest in terms of principle, he mentioned that the party would move ahead in cooperation with all parties.
