Myagdi, Dec 30: In a benevolent act, a couple donated a piece of land worth Rs 25 million to Netra Jyoti Sangh (NJS), Beni, an organisation providing eye care service network in Nepal.
Mukti Roka and Yammaya Roka, residents of Malika Rural Municipality-6, donated the land (seven aana, one paisa and three dam) located in Kalipur, Beni Bazaar. The Sangh, currently operating from a tent, received this substantial contribution to advance its mission in eye care services, it has been said.
At an event, the Roka couple presented the land ownership certificate to Amar Baniya, the President of Netra Jyoti Sangh.
The donation not only helps the organisation to construct its new facility but also highlights the enduring commitment of the Roka couple to continue supporting the cause in the future, said the couple.
