Khotang, Dec 30: The construction of a health post’s building at Rakhabangdel of Aishelukharka rural municipality in Khotang district has not made any headway due to gross negligence of the contractor company.
The Gauri Parbati New Technical JV was awarded contract on November 26, 2020 for the building by March 11, 2022.
Chief of the project office in Okhaldunga, Prabhakar Karna, ranted that there was no alternative to bringing that erring contractor company to book. He shared that they had sent a follow-up letter for the last time to the company, warning it of action if the company persists inaction.
The wall of the ground floor has been plastered while there is no wall in the second floor.
The same company had bagged the contract to construct altogether five buildings of different five health posts at the estimated cost of over Rs 74 million (excluding VAT), according to Karna.
