Kathmandu, Dec 31: The ‘Thamel Road Festival’ is being organised in the touristic area of Thamal, Kathmandu on eve of the English New Year, 2024.
Organised by the Thamel Tourism Development Council, the venue for the festival is the road in front of the building of Sanchayakosh. Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka is scheduled to inaugurate the event at 5 pm today.
With the slogan, ‘Go to Thamel, stay in Thamel, roam in Thamel, have fun in Thamel’, around 180,000 people are expected to visit the festival.
