Kathmandu, Jan 9: Chickpea is a grain that finds its way in most Nepali kitchens. Chickpea can be eaten in various forms of dishes. The grain is considered very beneficial for removing weakness, strength and energy.
Eating soaked chickpeas regularly will help develop fertility and give strength.
When chickpea is eaten and what amount?
–Wash and soak a handful of chickpeas in a glass of clean water before going to bed at night.
–After exercising in the morning, chew properly and eat it.
–Mix one teaspoon of honey in chickpea soaked water, and drink.
Benefits: Impotence is removed, sperm count increases and semen thickens.
Chickpea and almond
– Soak five almonds along with a handful of chickpeas.
– Chew the wet chickpeas and almonds in the morning.
– If possible, drink a glass of lukewarm milk with wet chickpeas and almonds.
Benefits: Provides strength and energy, strengthens muscles.
Chickpea and jaggery
–A handful of chickpeas soaked overnight should be chewed in the morning.
Benefits: Prevents anemia, increases the ability to fight diseases, prevents colds and coughs.
Chickpea fried in ghee
–Soak chickpeas overnight and fry them in pure ghee in the morning.
– Drink a glass of warm milk with roasted chickpeas.
Benefits: Removes all types of weakness, increases strength, and helps in weight gain.
