Kathmandu, Jan 11: As we grow older, our body cells function less well. In a modern lifestyle, what we are experiencing food and lifestyle has had its impact on our health, leading to the decrease of our lifespan.
Unhealthy diet, smoking, alcohol consumption, sedentary lifestyle, stress are some of the factors responsible. Worryingly, people are starting to look old at a young age. But science says that if you keep your heart healthy, you can somehow delay your aging.
Ways to delay aging are as follows:
- The biological age of a person who sleeps well will be less than the actual age.
- A person who does not smoke can definitely reduce the effects of aging.
- People who do physical activity regularly do not age quickly.
- People who only eat unprocessed foods such as green leafy seasonal vegetables, fresh fruits, and whole grains may look younger than their actual age.
- Those who reduce obesity and do not gain weight can prolong their youthful days.
- Keeping cholesterol, high blood pressure and blood sugar at a controlled level through healthy eating and regular exercise can delay aging.
