Chitwan, March 18: Manakamana cable car service is to remain closed for a day. According to Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd, the cable car service will remain closed on March 20 for its regular maintenance.
The service would come into regular operation from March 21, said Deputy General Manager of the Pvt Ltd, Ujjwal Sherchan.
The Manakamana cable car service was brought into operation from 2055 BS. One can reach the Manakamana Temple of Gorkha district from Kurintar of Ichchhakamana-4 in Chitwan district within 10 minutes by cable car. Manakamana cable car is the first cable car service in Nepal.
