Kathmandu, April 4: The Seventh International Women’s Trade Expo 2024 hosted by the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) concluded here on Tuesday. The event funded by the Embassy and led by experts from the Export Council of Australia aimed at building capacity in Nepal’s women entrepreneurs regarding online retailing and branding, it has been said.
“I was delighted to join the ‘psychology of marketing’ seminar,” said Australian Ambassador Felicity Volk.
With new Trade and Investment Framework Arrangement in place, Australia and Nepal are working closely to expand trade relations and identify new commercial opportunities, according to a statement issued by the Embassy.
As Nepal prepares to graduate from the least developed country status in 2026, women entrepreneurs have a key role to play in Nepal’s graduation.
“Australia is supporting women in Nepal to grow their businesses, reach new markets and shape these entrepreneurs’ efforts in ways that deliver on their hard work, time and financial investments.”
