KATHMANDU: Shankaracharya Nischalananda Saraswati of Jagannathpuri-based Govardhan Math is being inaugurated the Adya Shankaracharya Temple located in front of the Pashupatinath Temple today.
The Temple destroyed in the Gorkha earthquake was recently reconstructed at the initiative of Pashupati Area Development Trust.
Dr Ramanananda Swami of Shankaracharya Math said that Shankaracharya Nishchalananda Saraswati would give sermon after the inauguration of the Temple. Nischalananda Saraswati, who arrived here on Thursday at the invitation of the PADT on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, had given sermon at the Shankaracharya Math after visiting Pashupati Temple this morning.
