Gulf cooperation council said that Netflix must be banned in gulf nations, they have a strong verdict that Netflix content is directly violating Islamic laws and values. Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), a regional organization that includes Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman, requested a statement on Tuesday. A special committee strongly demanded the ban of Netflix in respective nations.
On the pretext of LGBTQI characters and movies and gender-specific scenes including vulgar content and movie, Netflix has been an issue in gulf nations since its start. Saudi state television aired a report on Tuesday that included an interview with a woman identified as a “behavioral consultant” who described Netflix as being an “official sponsor of homosexuality”.

The California based company “Netflix” is yet to respond to this issue.
