Kathmandu, June 9: The government has endorsed the Civil Service (16th amendment) Regulation, 2083. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took a decision on it.
The meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers formed a 9-member ad hoc committee under the chairmanship of Bishal Bhandari to better manage the leadership and managerial affairs at the Nepal Red Cross Society, according to government Spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, Sashmit Pokharel.
Spokesperson Pokharel further shared that four hydropower projects were given permission to use national forest area in various places. The projects getting permission are- the Lower Arun Hydropower Project, the Lowar Nyadi Hydropower Project, the Ghunsa Khola Hydropower Project and the Tadi Khola Hydropower Project.
The Cabinet also decided to receive the report submitted by a committee on investigation into the former Home Minister and House of Representatives Member, Sudhan Gurung.
