Kathmandu, Aug 16: The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 is concluding today at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu. This event has reached its sixth day and has attracted a remarkable number of attendees.
By the conclusion of the fifth day, more than 150,000 visitors had entered the venue, surpassing the expectations set by the organizers for the entire duration of the expo. On this final day alone, an impressive 42,000 visitors have been recorded, demonstrating the fair’s growing popularity.
Featuring over 55 vehicle brands, the expo has unveiled a variety of new models, including 53 entirely new vehicles launched during the event. Attendees have expressed significant interest in various features, such as battery capacity, motor specifications, range, after-sales service, battery warranties, and resale values.
The expo aims to foster a sustainable and technologically advanced transportation system in Nepal, with a particular focus on electric vehicles, e-scooters, and electric commercial vehicles—many of which are making their first appearance in the Nepalese market. The involvement of both local and international manufacturers underscores the expo’s significance within the industry.
