KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the government was serious about resolving the citizenship issue.
“This time we have got a President who does not complicate matters but who facilitates in unraveling the knot,” he said while addressing a program in Bara on Thursday.
Prime Minister Dahal said that the problem related to citizenship is not only that of the Madhes, but that of the country itself.
“The problem would be resolved for the long term,” he added.
Meanwhile, he also claimed that improvement has now been seen in the country’s economy though it was in crisis earlier.
He said that with the increase in the arrival of tourists, the reserve of foreign currency has also increased.
