Kathmandu, Aug 16: Australia’s ambassador to Nepal Felicity Volk has paid a farewell call on President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba.
The meeting between the duo discussed the strong diplomatic ties between Nepal and Australia, the potential for greater two-way trade and investment, and shared democratic values and commitment to social inclusion.
“During my farewell call with honorable Sher Bahadur Deuba, I recalled his warm welcome at our first meeting in 2021 and our cooperation during his tenure as Prime Minister,” said ambassador Volk, “since then, the Australia-Nepal relationship has grown even stronger, built on a foundation of ever increasing people-to-people links.”
