Kathmandu— Australian Ambassador to Nepal, Leann Johnston, met with Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu, Sunita Dangol, last week to discuss initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Australia and Nepal.
During their meeting, Ambassador Johnston and Deputy Mayor Dangol explored the potential of sister city relations between Kathmandu and cities in Australia, focusing on how such collaborations can foster stronger diplomatic, cultural, and economic ties.
Expressing her appreciation for the warm reception, Ambassador Johnston added, “I look forward to continuing our close engagement and exploring more opportunities to deepen collaboration.”
