Kathmandu, Nov 7: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba defined the festivals as the heritage of social ties and cultural harmony.
In his message of best wishes on the occasion of the Chhath festival, he said the festivals have helped further enhance the sense of shared feeling and prepared the foundation of unity and reconciliation among all.
President Deuba wished happiness, peace, prosperity and success to all including the Terai people. “Nepal is a country with various festivals, religious and cultural customs. We have our own harmonious tradition of respecting all religious and cultural practices”, Deuba said in the message.
