Kathmandu, Jan 4: The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces and mainly fair in the rest of the country during the day, today, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said.

It will be partly cloudy at a few places in the mountainous region of the country tonight.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said fog has occurred at many places in Tarai and in the Kathmandu Valley in the morning and it has urged all concerned to remain alert as it could affect the daily life, health, transportation and civil aviation.
