Kaski, Feb 8: The Pokhara Metropolitan City is preparing to declare the Pokhara Visit Year 2025 with a target to receive 2 million tourists.
The Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Dhanraj Acharya, said a formal announcement of the Pokhara Visit Year would be made on February 15.
The 1,050-member main organizing committee has been formed under the convenership of Mayor Acharya.
Likewise, Mayor Acharya would lead the Directorate Committee of the Pokhara Visit Year while 43 other sub-committees have also been formed.
“We are working for the declaration of the Pokhara Visit Year. Ambassadors from different countries would join at the inaugural event,” Mayor Acharya stated.
Likewise, the city would also name goodwill ambassadors to intensify tourism promotion of Pokhara in different countries.
