Mahendranagar (Dhanusha): CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that his party has always been committed towards guaranteeing the rights of the oppressed communities including Madhesi.
Chairperson Prachanda reaffirmed the commitment while addressing the party’s programme ‘Maoist with Public: Terai-Madhes Awareness Campaign’ organized at Soniga at Hansapur Municipality in Dhanusha district on Sunday. During the programme, Dahal mentioned that his party had accorded high priority to the development of Madhes.
He shared that his party had played an important role in formation of Madhesi National Liberation Front, implementation of federalism and inclusiveness, targeting the overall development of Madhes.
He assured that his party will work resolutely to ensure that the demands of Madhes are met.
Prachanda said that his party will pile pressures for early completion of Postal Highway, an important infrastructure for the development of Madhes.
The Maoist Centre Chairman clarified that his party was positive and supportive towards the demand put forth by the locals for the earliest construction of Kamala bridge. According to him, his party was launching ‘door-to-door’ campaign at present to feel the pulse of the people. On the occasion, party leader Matrika Prasad Yadav pledged that his party would always remain honest towards the cause of Madhesi citizens.
