Kathmandu— The Japanese University Alumni Association, Nepal (JUAAN) held its Annual Program, bringing together approximately 50 members to reflect on the past year’s progress and discuss future initiatives. The event served as a platform for fostering collaboration among alumni who have pursued higher education in Japan and are now contributing to various fields in Nepal.

Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, MAEDA Toru, underscored the pivotal role of education in nation-building, emphasizing that JUAAN members exemplify this philosophy through their professional achievements. He highlighted their contributions in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing Nepal’s development.

The Embassy of Japan in Nepal welcomed new members who joined JUAAN through this occasion, reaffirming its commitment to supporting academic exchange and fostering stronger ties between the two nations. The event further reinforced the role of JUAAN in promoting educational and professional collaboration between Nepal and Japan.
