KATHMANDU — The Peace Corps has welcomed its 210th group of Volunteers to Nepal, continuing a tradition of support and collaboration that began in 1962. This new cohort, consisting of 42 Volunteers, follows in the footsteps of over 4,000 Americans who have served the country through the program.

Upon completing a nine-week training program, the Volunteers celebrated with a special event for their Nepali host families, featuring traditional Nepali songs and dances.

The Volunteers will work in diverse sectors, including Agriculture/Food Security, Environment/Forestry, and English Education. They will be deployed in various districts across Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, making valuable contributions to the local communities.

The Peace Corps extends a warm welcome to group N210, excited for their impactful service in Nepal.
