Kathmandu, August 16 – Indian Foreign Secretary Shri Vikram Misri will pay an official visit to Nepal from August 17–18, 2025, at the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai.
The visit underscores the close and friendly relations between India and Nepal, which have witnessed significant progress in recent years across multiple areas of cooperation. India has consistently emphasized its commitment to strengthening ties with Nepal under its Neighborhood First policy.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the upcoming visit will provide an important opportunity for the two countries to review ongoing collaborations and explore avenues to further deepen bilateral relations. The visit also continues the tradition of regular high-level engagements between the two neighbors.
