Kritipur (Kathmandu) : Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that the Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium was the country’s model development project.
The TU Cricket Stadium would be the model development project after its completion though it took more than the stipulated time for the development, the Deputy Prime Minister told the media persons after taking stock of the ongoing progress of the stadium on Sunday.
DPM Singh also argued that this project was not delayed as compared to some other projects. “But, the provisions of penalty have been implemented to discourage the trend of dillydallying. This project has made us excited,” he mentioned.
Likewise, DPM Singh said that construction of the parapet under the first phase was completed and the installation of the flood lights has reached its final phase.
