Kathmandu, Sept 12: Finally, the Office of the President built a consensus on formation of a new government under the leadership of former Chief Justice Sushila Karki.

The Office of the President informed that preparation was underway to administer the oath to the new Prime Minister Sushila Karki by President Ramchandra Paudel after a while.

It is learnt that President Paudel made untiring efforts to build consensus in the difficult situation caused in the country after the GenZ protest that led to the resignation of then Prime Minsiter KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday. PM’s resignation had created a political vacuum.

The Nepali Army also supported in the consensus building process in addition to the management of national security.
