Kathmandu, Sept 15: The low pressure monsoon trough is in its average position at present. According to the Weather Forecasting Division, there is also an impact of water vapor from the Arab Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
The Division shared that the weather shall remain generally cloudy nationwide today. There are chances of moderate rainfall at one or two places of the hilly and tarai regions.
Likewise, there are chances of heavy rainfall in most parts of Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, and one or two places of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
Similarly, the Division stated that one or two places of Gandaki province are likely to witness very heavy rainfall today.
Later tonight, the weather will remain generally cloudy throughout the country. Moderate rain is likely to occur in different parts of the country’s hilly and tarai regions.
Koshi, Madesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces and at a few places in the rest of the country.
Chances remain of heavy rainfall at few places of Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and one or two places Koshi and Bagmati provinces, the Division stated.
