Kathmandu, Sept 15: Newly appointed Minister for Energy and Water Resources, Kul Man Ghising, has assumed the office today.
Assuming the office, Minister Ghising said he would work untiringly to address the challenges facing country’s journey to prosperity and political stability. However, the interim government was formed under special circumstances, Minister reminded, adding that ensuring normalcy in country with full-fledged activities counts much.
The Minister extended tribute to those who lost their lives for the democracy at different times and recent Gen-Z protest, and whished a speedy recovery to the injured ones.
Recalling the government’s responsibility of conducting an election to the House of Representatives on time along with reconstruction works, he opined that he would speed up the related tasks. The Ujyalo Nepal Campaign would be forwarded in an effective manner.
“Nepal is now in economic and political crisis. Entrepreneurs and citizens at home and abroad should help lift the country of present difficulty,” he argued. Directive has been issued to collect arrears of the dedicated feeder and trunk line at the earliest.
On the occasion, the Minister vowed establishment of a fund for the reconstruction. The Energy Minister informed he would work in a way that helps materialize the aspiration and demands of Gen-Z people.
