Independent member in the Lumbini Province Assembly, Surul Pun, has decided to rejoin the CPN (Maoist Centre). He on Monday wrote to the Maoist Centre Lumbini Province parliamentary party’s office informing it about his decision to rejoin the party.
He had been elected to the Lumbini PA from the Rukum East during the November 20 election by defeating Tej Bahahadur Oli, the candidate from the then ruling alliance.
He announced his candidacy as a rival candidate from the CPN (Maoist Centre). With this, the Maoist Centre has 11 members in the Lumbini PA
