Kathmandu : In a warm telephone conversation, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and Balendra Shah, senior leader of the party, following their significant success in the Nepal General Election 2026.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Modi congratulated both leaders on their electoral victories and praised the RSP’s strong performance in the national elections. He extended his best wishes for the formation of the upcoming government under their leadership.
Prime Minister Modi also reaffirmed India’s commitment to working closely with Nepal for mutual prosperity, development, and the well-being of the people of both nations. He expressed confidence that through joint efforts, the longstanding relationship between India and Nepal will reach new heights in the coming years.
