Kathmandu, Aug 25: One to two places in hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces are likely to have heavy rainfall today. The weather service has predicted light to moderate rainfall in some places of Tarai region in Bagmati, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces and few places of Madhes, and Tarai belt of Koshi Provinces.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, it is currently raining- light to moderate- in one to two places of Madhes Province, some places of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and few places of Sudurpaschim Province. It is generally cloudy across the country. The monsoon wind is active throughout the country. The low pressure belt of monsoon is located on its average range.
Generally cloudy weather is forecasted across the country today. Most of the places in hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and some places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces are expected to have moderate rainfall along with thunder and lightning.
