Kathmandu: The Nepali Army has rescued 25 people affected by the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. Army teams deployed in the affected area rescued them from Timure and Syafru in Rasuwa and the Trishuli area in Nuwakot, according to army spokesperson Rajaram Basnet.
The army has deployed six helicopters and the private sector eight, making a total of 14 helicopters to rescue and respond to flood-affected areas. These helicopters will help in rescuing the injured and affected people and providing relief as needed.
The army has deployed a team of 20 specialist doctors, including two surgeons, at the Maithali Barracks in Trishuli to treat the injured. This team was sent to provide medical services at the barracks after the road connection to Trishuli Hospital was cut off.
