Kathmandu, Sept 23: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to begin at 11:00am today at Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.
In the meeting, HoR Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal will be reading out a letter received from the Office of the President regarding the Prime Minister’s portfolio.
Similarly, Minister for Infrastructure Development Sunil Lamsal will be presenting the ‘Waste Management Bill, 2083 BS’.
Furthermore, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to table proposals seeking consideration on the ‘Citizen Investment Trust (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS’ and the ‘Payment and Settlement (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS’.
Likewise, Minister for Agriculture, Forest, and Environment Gita Chaudhary will present a proposal seeking consideration on the ‘Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083 BS’ which originated in the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, five parliamentary committees are also convening later today.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat informed that the committees scheduled to meet are the Finance Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee and Federalism Enablement and National Concerns Committee.
