KATHMANDU: The candidate of Rastriya Swatantra Party Dr. Swarnim Wagle has been elected as the Member of Parliament from Tanahu-1.
He won by a wide margin.
Wagle defeated Nepali Congress candidate Govinda Bhattarai by 14,388 votes.
Wagle got 34,480 votes while NC’s Bhattarai got 20,092 votes.
Similarly, Sarbendra Khanal of CPN-UML garnered 8,555 votes.
