Kathmandu: The heat wave of the election is getting momentum in Bara -2.

All the candidates of various political parties have been engaging in the election campaign to lure the votes.

The situation and the candidates of Bara-2 are indifferent to Chitwan-2 and Tanahu-1 by-elections.

More interesting is that all the candidates in Bara have already been kicked out by the voters in the HoR election held on November 20, 2022. Ramesh Kharel of Rastriya Swatantra Party had been rejected from Kathmandu while Upendra Yadav was chucked out by Chandra Kant (CK) Raut with majority votes.

New pictures have come out in the ongoing election campaign. Candidates have forgotten the Madesh movement and the issue of Madhes, which is completely new in the Madhes Election. New debates in the streets have been hit by “Local or Migrant’ candidates.

Upendra Yadav, who had won the election twice, has been accused of fleeing from the voter after getting the ballot in his favor. After losing the election from Saptari-2, Yadav has been applying all ‘by hook or crook’ tricks to win the election.

Newly appointed Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has his own popularity in Bara-2. But, the scenario to Upendra is different than Yadav. He is being called a ‘tourist’ candidate, which may affect the ballot box.

Upendra Yadav, who used to dub CPN (UML) chairman KP Oli as anti-Madheshi had formed an alliance with Oli in the last election.

Yadav, who fielded the candidacy from 4 constituencies in the last four elections, has lost the trust of the voters. He is not only a strong candidate, also the president of the Janata Samajbadi Party and one of the frontiers of the Madhesh movement.

The general public’s view of Upendra has been deteriorating over the course of time.

There is a majority of the Yadav community in Bara- 2. Taking the advantage of the community, Yadav is hoping to win the election with the support of the chief minister of Madhes province and the Yadav community.

Upendra Yadav, who is the chairman of the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum. Yadav has been able to maintain his legacy for 15 years because of his ability to change colors with the times. Yadav has an amazing ability to deliver his speech according to the political course.

After the unexpected defeat of Saptari, some people speculated that Upendra Yadav has lost his legacy.
