Kathmandu, Aug 24: The House of Representatives (HoR) of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to meet today at 1:00 pm, where the relevant ministers will respond to the quires of lawmakers.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, on behalf of the Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is anticipated to propose forwarding the First Amendment Bill, 2083, which addresses the remuneration and services of constitutional office bearers, to the appropriate committee for further examination.
Additionally, Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal will present a proposal to send the Passport (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, to the relevant committee for in-depth discussion.
Minister Sita Badi will also propose that the Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, be sent for further deliberation, while Minister Gauri Kumari is expected to propose sending the Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083, to the relevant committee.
Meanwhile, five parliamentary committees are meeting today: International Relations and Tourism, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Infrastructure Development, Legislative Management, and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation.
